OECD Internship Programme 2026–2027: Paid Internships for University Students

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) offers internship opportunities to university students interested in gaining professional experience in international policy, research, economics, education, digital development and other areas.

The OECD Internship Programme is particularly interesting because applications are accepted throughout the year. The organisation recruits interns on a rolling basis, allowing eligible students to submit applications whenever the recruitment system is open rather than waiting for one fixed annual deadline.

What Does the Internship Programme Cover?

Successful applicants gain practical experience working with policy experts and professionals across different OECD departments.

Interns may receive opportunities to:

  • Conduct research and prepare policy documents.

  • Collect, organise and analyse data.

  • Support reports, publications and working papers.

  • Participate in meetings, seminars and events.

  • Assist with communications and administrative activities.

  • Develop professional and analytical skills in an international environment.

The OECD provides interns based in Paris with a contribution towards living expenses of €1,000 per full month worked.

Internships normally last between one and six months, with the possibility of renewal up to a total of 12 months.
